Square Tag | home | help |
In addition to the meta tag format for specifying data NetInsert also supports the use of a [square tag]. The square tag can only be used to specify the category of a web page.
The square tag is suitable for people who have a limited access to the content of the page. Examples of such access are blogs, wikis, community pages, forums etc. The square tag can be placed anywhere in the page. An example of a netinsert square tag declared in running text is:
...This is running text on a page. The page is about libraries [netinsert=0.0.1.8.1.1] ...more text...
The square tag in this example is specifying a value of 0.0.1.8.1.1 for the property netinsert within square brackets. This means that the web page is indexed in the category 0.0.1.8.1.1 in the NetInsert directory. The value 0.0.1.8.1.1 is an address in the NetInsert taxonomy system.
